Large Order Compensation ($8)

Hello! In this post, I will be talking about large order compensation - how to get it, what is the compensation amount etc.

If you ever receive an order that you personally think is large, make sure to take a photo of the order. This is absolutely essential. I've ever encountered a scenario where my order was clearly large (about 5-6 McDonald's meals including drinks, and I'm a walker), but I could not claim large order compensation because I had not taken a photo. After taking the photo, you can send the photo to Grab via Live Chat or call the Grab Customer Service number (6900 7954). They'll review your request and once approved, you typically get the compensation in your cash wallet within 24 hours.

As for the compensation amount, it's fixed at $8. So whether you have an extremely large order or just a typical large order, you will be compensated for a fixed amount of $8.

From what I understand, there is no limit to the number of times you can claim large order compensation. As long as you fulfill the criteria, you'll get the $8. Also, in your Grab app, they don't name the payout as large order compensation, but as "Goodwill to GrabFood Delivery Partner". See the attached screenshot.

You can only claim the compensation once per stacked order. So, if you have a double or triple stacked order and it fulfills the large order compensation criteria, you can only claim the $8 once.

Also, note that I am a walker and so the large order compensation criteria may be different compared to cyclist/motorcyclist/PAB.

Here are some examples of $8 large order compensation that I have successfully claimed:

1. Cheers - 34 cans of beer

2. Triple order - 2x Subway and 1x Gong Cha

3. Double order - Arnold's and Common Grill

4. Triple order - 2x Koi and 1x Nine Fresh
