Compilation of Official and Non-Official Resources on GrabFood (Customer Service Hotline, Live Chat, Facebook, YouTube, Telegram, Blog etc.)

Hello! In this post, I have compiled a list of official and non-official resources on GrabFood - basically channels to help us GrabFood riders if we ever need any assistance for work-related matters. Hope it helps. The following channels have all been tried and tested by me. I've included them because I've found them useful and helpful to me as a GrabFood walker. Please let me know if you have any channels that you would like me to add to the list, or if you would like me to remove any of the existing channels I've listed. Thanks, take care and ride safe! :) Official channels 1. GrabFood Customer Service Hotline (6900 7954) Open from 10am to 2am, every day 2. GrabFood Live Chat Open from 10am to 2am, every day Note that the operating hours change from time to time, so take what I say with a pinch of salt. Non-official channels 1. Facebook groups/pages (a) GrabFood Delivery Rider Singapore ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/618879181797741 ) Private, non-official group 12.9k

Large Order Compensation ($8)

Hello! In this post, I will be talking about large order compensation - how to get it, what is the compensation amount etc. If you ever receive an order that you personally think is large, make sure to take a photo of the order . This is absolutely essential. I've ever encountered a scenario where my order was clearly large (about 5-6 McDonald's meals including drinks, and I'm a walker), but I could not claim large order compensation because I had not taken a photo. After taking the photo, you can send the photo to Grab via Live Chat or call the Grab Customer Service number (6900 7954). They'll review your request and once approved, you typically get the compensation in your cash wallet within 24 hours. As for the compensation amount, it's fixed at $8. So whether you have an extremely large order or just a typical large order, you will be compensated for a fixed amount of $8. From what I understand, there is no limit to the number of times you can claim large order

I got a $50 tip!

Hello! In my first proper post, I shall share my interesting experience of receiving a $50 tip today.  Happened on 9 August 2020 at around lunchtime in the Hougang area. Saizeriya. I was just doing my usual stuff - I typically try to be polite, friendly, and kind to my customers. Just imagine how you would like to be treated by a GrabFood rider if you were a customer.  Then...I received a huge surprise. $50 tip!! I honestly thought at first that the customer made a mistake and was expecting GrabFood to call me to take back the money, but that never happened.  To maximize the chances of getting such tips, my experience is  1) be polite and kind. I always try to say stuff like “thanks, take care and enjoy”. Not hard to say  2) follow the customer’s request. If customers ask for cutlery/curry sauce/napkin, try to accommodate.  3) update customers when you’re about to arrive. Or update if there’s a delay. The customer doesn’t like it if he/she is kept waiting and not updated. Just put your

Introduction

Hello! Nice to meet you and thanks for visiting my blog. I'm C, a GrabFood walker who started working for GrabFood in mid-June 2020. I'm also a full-time undergraduate at a local university. As of 8 Aug 2020, I've completed about 450 jobs and earned about S$2000+ over a period of seven weeks (i.e. about 60-70 jobs and S$500 per week). I'm creating this website to share my experiences as a GrabFood walker, and I invite other GrabFood walkers/cyclists/PAB riders/motorcyclists reading this to share about their experiences as well in the comments below. :) In the subsequent posts, I will be covering some questions that people may be curious about, such as: How much does a GrabFood walker typically earn? What are the working hours like? Do I get compensation for long waiting time or large orders? What is the compensation amount? Must wait how long to get? What are some interesting things that I have experienced as a GrabFood walker? Have I gotten any interesting orders? What
